Join me for a day of learning how to turn your very own bowl on a traditional foot-powered lathe!
During this course we will investigate the use of a pole lathe to turn a wooden eating bowl, turning techniques, bowl design, and wood drying/finishing. Starting out with an axed out 'bowl blank', each participant can expect to turn 1-2 bowls of their own over the course of the day. All tools and materials will be provided by the instructor.
