One-on-One Turning Lesson Deposit

One-on-one instruction on the pole lathe allows me to give you my undivided attention for the day. Open to all skill levels!

In this lesson we will cover the basics of turning a wooden bowl on a pole lathe such as: wood selection, turning techniques, tool sharpening, and wood finishing and oiling. One can expect to turn a bowl/plate of their own to take home at the end of the lesson, which typically takes 5-6 hours considering breaks and instruction.

*Pole Lathe turning is a physically demanding practice that requires a fair bit of stamina. Children under the age of 16 may need to be accompanied by an adult.
